YOUR LEARNING PATH

15 lessons. A practical outcome.

Open a lesson to see what your team will learn.

01The Manager's Role in the AI Era

Explore augmentation, automation and changing responsibilities. Understand why team adoption requires leadership, clear expectations and learning as well as technology.

02Finding AI Opportunities in Your Team

Map activities as automate, accelerate, augment or keep human. Rank opportunities by business value, risk, readiness and the ability to measure improvement.

03AI for Management Productivity

Prepare weekly plans, project updates, meeting questions and management briefs. Review facts, tone, priorities and stakeholder commitments before sharing.

04Better Decision-Making With AI

Use AI to examine options, trade-offs and missing information. Practise spotting weak evidence and distinguish decision support from decision authority.

05AI as a Strategic Thinking Partner

Ask AI to challenge a strategy, reveal assumptions and propose alternative explanations. Assess whether objections are relevant and what evidence would change the plan.

06Managing AI-Enabled Employees

Set expectations for quality, disclosure, checking and accountability. Address differences in confidence and access without assuming heavy AI use equals strong performance.

07Delegating to Humans vs AI

Compare doing a task yourself, delegating to an employee, using AI or combining employee and AI work. Consider judgment, relationships, risk and learning value.

08Building AI-Enabled Teams

Redesign a team workflow, assign owners and place human checkpoints. Identify bottlenecks and the support employees need to use the new process.

09Introducing AI Without Creating Resistance

Explore concerns about replacement, trust and tool overload. Practise explaining a bounded pilot, inviting feedback and offering time for learning.

10Coaching Employees With AI

Prepare feedback, role-play conversations and outline development plans using fictional situations. Keep employee judgments contextual and human-led.

11AI for Performance & Skills Development

Map changing tasks to skills and learning needs. Design pathways based on demonstrated capability rather than prompt volume or unsupported AI ratings.

12Managing AI Risks

Identify confidentiality, inaccurate output, bias and excessive automation risks. Determine who owns review, escalation and incident response for each use case.

13Establishing Team AI Rules

Draft a team playbook covering approved and prohibited uses, data handling, verification, human review and escalation. Align it with company policies and decision rights.

14Measuring AI's Impact

Choose measures such as cycle time, errors, quality, capability and business outcomes. Record baselines and distinguish genuine improvements from changes in workload.

15Final Challenge: Build Your AI-Enabled Team Plan

Create a 90-day plan: identify opportunities and rules in days 1-30; train and pilot in days 31-60; measure, improve and decide on scaling in days 61-90.
